They eagerly watched as I unpacked the beakers, cylinders, and microscope, asking what experiments they could try first. It was incredible to see their curiosity come alive as they carefully measured liquids in graduated cylinders and weighed objects on the compact scales. One of our first activities was exploring cellular respiration. Students compared how long it took water mixed with bromothymol blue to change color once the CO2 from our breath was introduced. They were thrilled to see science concepts that once seemed abstract take shape right before them.\r\n\r\nThese resources have transformed our classroom into a true hands-on lab space. Students are not just reading about science, they are doing science. From measuring water to preparing slides for the microscope, they are practicing the skills of inquiry, precision, and collaboration every day. Their enthusiasm has sparked deeper questions and richer discussions, and they are already brainstorming new experiments they want to try.
