We decided to begin with our 4th grade students since the heat-press projects are for our 5th and 6th grade students. Recently, a group of girls had a few extra minutes before returning to class, so we used that time to explore the Cricut together. Their curiosity and excitement as they watched an idea become a real design was such a special moment. What started as a few extra minutes quickly became an opportunity to create, explore, and learn.\r\n\r\nThis project is giving our students a hands-on introduction to design, technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship. As we continue developing our CAB Creative Studio, students will move from simply exploring the machine to creating purposeful products and materials that support our school community. Our next steps are to introduce more students to the design process and connect their creations to our larger leadership and entrepreneurship goals. Your support helped us take the first step toward a creative studio where students can turn their ideas into something tangible. Although the project was funded during the summer rather than during the spring as planned, we were able to adapt the items to support the launch of our new school year and our PBIS program. With the generous support of Colgate-Palmolive, we added an Orange House to our LiveSchool house system, bringing our total to five houses. The orange-themed treats became an exciting incentive as students competed to earn positive points and demonstrate our Viking STARS expectations.\r\nThe Orange House made history by winning our first House Color Battle, earning the most LiveSchool points among all five houses! Students were thrilled to celebrate their victory with the donated treats. These rewards became more than just snacks—they provided a tangible way to recognize positive choices, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. The excitement has continued into September, with students motivated to work together and earn the most points again.\r\nWe are incredibly grateful to Colgate-Palmolive for investing in our students and helping us turn a simple orange-themed idea into a meaningful PBIS experience. Their generosity is helping us create a positive school culture where students are excited to make good choices, support their house, and embrace our schoolwide message: \"Young Bosses. No Limits.
