My students are learning how to apply for jobs, balance expenses, receiving bonuses, and their favorite: PURCHASING FROM OUR CLASS STORE!\r\n\r\nMany of my students come from a low income household and are unable to splurge on snack items, so by creating my classroom economy they are now able to purchase fun snacks such as pop-tarts and sour straws.\r\n\r\nI was even able to encourage an English language learner through our class store to become more involved in our class.
