The library is a place of learning, but it should also be fun and welcoming. While many people may envision the antiquated image of a librarian with an index finger pressed firmly against her lips delivering a brassy “shhhh,” today’s librarians want kids to look forward to their library visit. On top of providing reading materials, it is my hope that the Pascagoula High School Library can also offer students thought-provoking activities such as board games and puzzles. That’s where you come in. With your help, together we can transform the library from a mere room of books into an engaging learning center teeming with mindful recreation. I have requested a wide array of puzzles and board games that students can play during their free time during lunch. Please consider donating to my fundraising effort for the Pascagoula High School Library and Learning Center.
