The looks of excitement and the thrilled squeals when they got to see all the titles and choices for their monthly book selections were the best of the school year. \r\n\r\nIn addition to the joy that your support brought to the end of the school year, I hope and believe that it also reignited students' love for reading. Given that so many of these titles were nonfiction, I hope it also gave students an opportunity to learn more about something that interests them. \r\n\r\nThe idea behind these monthly book selections was to support students in building their own personal library so they would have a nice variety of 'good fit', high interest books that they could continue reading over the summer. Additionally, students are now able to pass on that love and joy to their siblings as they brought these books home. \r\n\r\nFor many of these students, the books they brought home are the first books they've had access to outside of school that they can call their own. Thank you for the part that you played in making this project a success.
