Many of them come to school without the essential materials required to access digital content independently. In the past, students often had to use outdated, limited headphones or try to learn with the volume turned down low—an obstacle for everyone, but especially for my English Language Learners and students with special needs. Thanks to you, they'll now be able to watch, rewatch, and fully absorb content at their own pace without distraction or embarrassment.\r\n\r\nWe completed our unit on earthquakes, and with the addition of geometry compasses, students were able to have the tools they needed to explore real-world science through citizen science projects, tracking seismic activity, triangulating epicenters, and applying critical thinking and math skills to investigate how the Earth moves—all in a hands-on, collaborative way.\r\n\r\nYour support doesn't just supply materials—it opens doors to deeper understanding, independence, and curiosity-driven learning. It sends a powerful message to my students that there are people out there who believe in their potential and want to see them succeed. By building these models, students learn about the scientists, engineers, astronauts, and groundbreaking achievements behind each mission. As they build, they also explore concepts in physics, engineering, and design. The Lego models serve as a starting point to discuss aerodynamics, propulsion, and the challenges of space travel.\r\n\r\nWhen students first encountered these materials, they were excited and energized. Lego sets, especially those tied to something as fascinating as space exploration, have universal appeal. They encourage creativity and problem-solving, and the connection to NASA's history sparked curiosity.
