In today's environment it is going to be essential for our students and children to develop and understand how to use alternative energy sources. Students will design and build solar cars and create and experiment with wind turbines as they learn about these alternate sources of energy. Both 6th grade and 8th grade students will benefit from these resources and engineering experiences. In addition, we would like to talk about water energy as we join up with life science and biology classes in the school who are learning about ecosystems and water quality.
