Thank you for making this possible! You contributed to a project that resulted in so many resources for my students. I have been able to use these resources in small and large groups to help them read and write.\r\n\r\nA set of \"hear-myself\" sound phones are helpful for students while they learn to sound out words. The phones direct the students' voice directly to their ear. These phones help students who have a tendency of reading too loud, to help them modulate their voice. They are also useful for students who read too softly and can't hear themselves. The phones are also fun to use and motivate students to read!\r\n\r\nWith the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I was able to purchase many teaching resources. I purchased a set of decodable books and reader's theater scripts, so students can read at their reading level. Students especially enjoy the reader's theater scripts, which came with pictures of the characters so students can act out the story as they read. We also received letters with a tracing path, which help students practice letter formation and letter sounds. Writing journals give students practice with generating their own ideas and building sentences. \r\n\r\nThese activities have given my students many opportunities to practice reading and writing.
