Many of my students don't have access to a wide variety of books at home, or they don't always have someone to read with them. As their teacher, I make it a top priority to expose them to as many books during the day and school year as possible. As kids are learning how to read it is important that they see and hear the words that are being read to them. By utilizing the listening station, students are getting practice towards become more confident readers. Students will be able to work in small groups or pairs while hearing a story and following along in the book.
