It is so important to bring the love of stories to young learners. It is my job to not only read a book but to tell stories using materials to make the book come alive through the magic of story telling. During the pandemic these books, felt board story pieces, puppets, and puppet theater will help me bring story telling alive as I create online lessons during distance learning. Once we are safely back in the classroom the students will be able to use ‘all’ the materials to practice talking and telling stories during small group work and play.

About my class
