Games like this embed SEL into everyday leaning in an engaging , low pressure way. I notice the scholars have a healthier routine and more predictable routine. Due to better decision making I have noticed improved peer relationships. A lot of my cheerleaders have financial hardships at home and a lot of them worried about how they would be able to afford the materials to be successful during this cheer season. The girls received full uniforms and were able to successfully bring cheerleading to the school. For many of the students they were able to try something new for the first time and have fun doing it. For a lot of the students financially supporting the purchase of the uniforms and being able to just do it without worrying about cost was a blessing.
