I am a teacher for Macomb Community Action Headstart. I service families with children that range in ages 3 to 5. In some cases, this is the first time, that the child has been away from their families and/or homes and in a real classroom experience. We give trauma informed support by providing a comfortable space for children to be able to express themselves when they are having big feelings. In this space, we give opportunity to children to use different materials that will help them gain control of those feelings while we support them.

About my class
