When I opened the box that held hundreds and hundreds of pipe cleaners, their eyes were wide and bright with happiness. They love to create and engineer designs and pipe cleaners are a very popular resource, especially when I open and allow them to choose any materials they wish. Something so simple as a pipe cleaner can be imagined into so many different things for my young engineers.\r\n\r\nSome of the other supplies we received, such as the teddy bear counters, were a big hit with my littles. They created a structure to save as many bears as they could from 'the lava'. This was a great lesson that accompanied the song and dance 'The Floor is Lava'.
