I have always told my students, "I don't care where you work, as long as you work." Giving students the flexibility to work at their desks, under their desks, laying on the floor, or even propping up their feet allows them to be more comfortable and engaged. However, when they use Chromebooks, they are restricted to their desk and chair, in order to make sure the Chromebooks stay in one piece. Giving them these EZDesk Magnetic Dry Erase Lap Desk to put their Chromebooks on would allow them to still have flexible seating while using technology. It is much more challenging to engage students these days. By allowing them to use technology, as well as a non-traditional work space, I feel that I could help get their attention and make their learning more meaningful.
