My little leaders need a rug with a space to call their own! This will enhance learning time by eliminating "personal space" arguments amongst my kindergartners. This is why I have selected a rug with squares that each student can sit on. It is equally important that kindergartners have their own book bins to shop for books. With your donation these kindergartners will fall in love with learning and reading by feeling a sense of belonging and ownership. I am also asking for donations of book bins where students will be free to choose individualized books that meet their needs and interests. With ownership comes a love for learning! My hope is that as my kindergartners are shopping for their books, they will have a sense of pride and enjoyment, which will then lead to an excitement for reading!
