Your support has had a wonderful impact on our classroom. \r\n\r\n-Our New Classroom Rug: This has created a clean and colorful gathering space where all of our students can come together for storytime, morning meetings, and group activities. For my students who use wheelchairs, having a clear, cozy center space allows them to park right alongside their peers at eye level, fostering a strong sense of community and connection. The colorful rug has even invited matching color activities!\r\n\r\n-The Bean Bag Chair: This offers a soft, supportive, and comforting alternative seating option. It gives students a relaxing space to transition out of their wheelchairs for floor play, and gentle stretching. \r\n\r\n-The Wobble Chair: This provides dynamic movement options for students who need \r\ninput to stay focused and engaged, and helps them self regulate.\r\nSeeing the joy on my students' faces as they use these items every day has been truly heartwarming. When we opened the boxes both staff and students were excited to use them. It was great to see how easy it was for students to work the swivel chairs independently. \r\n\r\nThe impact of these sensory tools were immediate. The touch screen pens fit so nicely in the students hands while they used their tablets. The vibrating pillows were easy to apply during group seated activities. The pressure vest was an obvious success for one particular student, allowing him to remain calm and engage with less hands on pressure input from staff.
