We use the both the 100 charts for our weekly computer programs for Reading and Math. Students are required to do 45 minutes. The student engagement and pride are priceless. Every time they pass a lesson 80% or above, they turn a number. When we reach 100 the students earn an incentive for the class! They are incredibly motivated to try and do their best! We have reached 100, 4 times in Reading and 3 times in Math! \r\nThe moveable stand with the blue pocket charts and sentence strips are used for Writing. Students are learning about nouns and verbs and have a great visual that was introduced in whole group teaching and then moved to the table for small group at the writing center. After reading \"What Snowmen Do at Night\", students wrote what they thought and made a beautiful classroom bulletin. They had so much fun learning about nouns and verbs! \r\nWe used the chair pockets to store student writing journals. We used both the tabletop pocket charts with wide boards for sentence stems and sight words.
