Students applied their knowledge by designing, building, testing, and improving models that demonstrated their understanding of real-world concepts. In our Tiny Houses project, students designed and constructed model homes while considering space, function, and the needs of a client.\r\n\r\nHaving access to these materials allowed students to think creatively, collaborate with classmates, and develop critical problem-solving skills. Laminating individual student tasks, using Velcro for ordering days of the week and months, matching, etc are just some of the independent work activities for students. The binders get a workout through the year so new ones are necessary. During the summer I will be creating the individualized binders for the students for the next school year.
