At our school as in many city schools we have a uniform policy and often times students will be out of uniform or in some cases not come to school because they do not have clean, warm uniform. Especially in the winter months, they may only have one short sleeved uniform shirt. Our project is to get, warm uniform colored sweat shirts for our students. While we wait for the sweatshirts to arrive, we are having the students in my fifth grade art classes create a logo with our school's name. Once the school votes on a design, we will send out the sweatshirts to be printed on. Then our students will have warm and stylish sweat shirts to proudly wear. Thank you for helping our students be stylish and WARM.
