The iPad and iPad pencil will allow us to demonstrate, as a class, our math thinking using various mathematical apps. It will allow our students to have fun with showing their learning in new ways, and make them feel more successful as mathematicians. The iPad and iPad pencil will allow our learning and teaching to sore into the 21st century. It will allow us to share our learning and teaching in quicker and more effective ways. We will be able to model our thinking for the class by using and manipulating place value blocks to show number sense, draw representations that show our thinking with ease using counters and snap cubes, make grids, tables and graphs and so much more. These tools will make math more accessible for the students and leave more time for learning to take place.
