They were able to research, create, illustrate and present facts about the Constitutional Convention simulating what they conflict and resolutions that occurred during the famous meeting.\r\n\r\nI have also purchased many different Bingo games to review and reinforce many different standards. Students come in and choose where they want to work, a wobble stool, a floor cushion, standing, based on what they're doing and how they're feeling that day. It's a small thing, but giving kids that choice has made the classroom feel more comfortable and more like theirs.\r\n\r\nThe practical difference I've noticed is that students are more settled during work time. Less fidgeting, fewer interruptions, more time on task across all subjects. For a mixed group of learners, having different options means more kids can find what works for them rather than everyone fitting the same mold.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll keep building on these routines as we move through our curriculum, and the seating will just be part of how we work, which is exactly what I was hoping for.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students have a classroom that's a little more comfortable and a little more theirs every day.","fullyFundedDate":1778010970125,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-options/10157027/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating Options","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Greenberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9620616_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758329452089","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missdgreenberg"},{"teacherId":9620616,"projectId":10267846,"letterContent":"When our iPad arrived, something changed about the way I teach, and my students noticed right away.\r\n\r\nBefore, I was tied to the front of the room. To show students something on the board, demonstrate a math problem, or pull up a reading passage, I had to stand at my computer and teach from a distance. For a classroom of 5th graders with a wide range of needs and attention spans, that distance matters more than people might think.\r\n\r\nNow, with the iPad, I can screen share and teach from anywhere in the room! I can sit at the back table with a small group who needs extra support while still guiding the whole class through a lesson. I can kneel next to a student who's struggling and walk them through a problem on the screen without leaving everyone else behind. I can circulate, check in, and stay present, because the classroom comes with me.\r\n\r\nWhat my students respond to most is simply having me closer. Less time at the front of the room means more eye contact, more one-on-one moments, and more of the small interactions that build trust and keep kids on track.\r\n\r\nThis iPad didn't just upgrade my technology, it upgraded my ability to be present for every student in the room.","fullyFundedDate":1778254699070,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-tech/10267846/","projectTitle":"Classroom Tech","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Greenberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9620616_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758329452089","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missdgreenberg"},{"teacherId":5561168,"projectId":9873233,"letterContent":"Who knew the magic of tennis balls?! When the materials first arrived, students were genuinely excited. Something as simple as having fresh pencils, colorful markers, and working erasers ready to use made a big difference. Students immediately began organizing the supplies and were eager to start using them during our lessons.\r\n\r\nWe use these shared supplies every day across subjects. During writing and social studies activities, students use the markers to highlight key ideas, annotate texts, and add visuals to projects. In math, students use the pencils and erasers as they work through multi-step problems, revise their thinking, and explain their reasoning. Having reliable materials available allows students to focus on learning instead of worrying about whether they have the tools they need.\r\n\r\nOne moment that stood out was watching students collaborate during a recent group project. Because everyone had access to the supplies, students were able to contribute equally, share ideas, and take pride in their work. It created a sense of teamwork and ownership that is so important in a classroom community.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these supplies will continue to support daily learning, writing projects, math problem solving, and creative activities throughout the year.
