I teach an awesome group of 5th grade students. As with any class they are diverse learners with diverse strengths. I love 5th grade because they are so eager to broaden their learning while also trying to become more independent. They are so capable at this age and I love being able to watch them grow from their last year of Elementary school into almost "Middle Schoolers".
