This donation has increased the standard of classroom infrastructure. Improving the everyday lives of students here is a great way to keep our students motivated to continue playing. Improvements like these really help retention. \r\n New music stands have been a game changer for the kids. Before these stands, the kids would use their flimsy stands that would fall over and not hold music. This caused a lot of frustration for the students. When kids are having difficulties with their music stand during rehearsal, their learning is stunted. This seemingly simple gift has actually increased our students time on learning. \r\n The students have been working hard on their concert, and rehearsals have been made easier and more effective with these new stands. Our students have been noticeably less stressed as they finish their Spring concert preparation. Too often our public schools are operating on a shoe string budget, and SSCPS is in the same position. We would not have been able to do this project without your generosity.
