The students learning will be improved because the new iPad would function more quickly and efficiently in the classroom. When students are modeling their work, and helping others, it's important that there are as few distractions as possible, and the aging tech that we currently use is causing a great many distractions because of processor issues. In our class, students use a system of writing on PDF documents on the iPad to show learning strategies they are using to their classmates via the wireless mirroring functionality with the Apple TV. Students demonstrate annotating a text, breaking a geometry problem down into simpler steps, and show off their own mnemonics via this tool.
