These supplies help high energy workers fidget without distracting others. They also discreetly sooth student anxiety, frustration, and hyperactivity. The rewards are used as incentives to reward students that stay on task and show the correct behavior.\r\n\r\nIt is because of you like you that public schools are able to continue having amazing educational opportunities for their students. Having a dedicated Chromebook charging station means our devices are consistently charged and ready to use, reducing interruptions and allowing students to transition quickly from one learning activity to the next.\r\n\r\nMy students are especially excited when they know the Chromebooks are ready for them to use independently and confidently. I have seen students who are naturally drawn to technology become classroom helpers and role models, assisting with organizing and caring for our devices. Students who may need additional engagement during traditional lessons have also benefited from having opportunities to interact with digital activities and learning platforms. The resources have also allowed me to incorporate social-emotional learning through lessons on friendship, kindness, and caring for others, while giving students opportunities to express themselves through art and creative projects.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is being able to learn by doing and creating. They love turning their math and literacy practice into crafts, colorful displays, and projects they can proudly share with their classmates and families. I have especially seen students who may struggle to stay engaged during traditional paper-and-pencil practice become more motivated when they can build, color, create, or work collaboratively. The Hundred Dresses activities and UFLI-aligned literacy centers have also provided opportunities for students to connect reading with discussion, reflection, and real-world lessons about kindness and inclusion.
