PJK grade FOUR is a diverse urban classroom with inquisitive and motivated students from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The PJK is a small, vibrant, and tight-knit neighborhood school community in a large metropolitan school district, and its students take pride in being members of this community. My kids engage in their community by asking questions, identifying problems, and brainstorming possible solutions. This year, I hope to see them grow into strong, thoughtful, and civic-minded young adults who are ready to tackle 5th grade.. and take on the world!
