Reading in our classroom has become more interactive and joyful, with students eagerly choosing books, sharing recommendations, and participating in thoughtful discussions. Several reluctant readers are now excited to read independently, and some students have even been inspired to create their own illustrated stories. Your generosity has made a tremendous impact on our students and their learning experiences. The new listening technology has helped students become more engaged, confident, and excited about reading. By hearing fluent reading while following along with the text, students are improving their comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, and overall fluency skills. What students love most is how immersive reading has become. They enjoy using the headphones and getting completely drawn into exciting stories and adventures. Even some of our more reluctant readers are now eager to participate during reading time and proudly discuss the books they are enjoying. Several students who previously struggled to stay focused or lacked confidence in their reading abilities have especially benefited from these resources. The audio support allows them to access stories independently and experience success without frustration. Our multilingual learners have also gained confidence as they hear language modeled clearly and expressively.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our classroom has become a place where students feel empowered, included, and motivated to read. With the donation of a laminating machine and laminating sheets, I am able to create durable, reusable materials that support learning across the curriculum.\r\n\r\nWhile laminated visuals like schedules, first-then boards, choice cards, and step-by-step task guides help students understand routines and expectations, the laminator has also enhanced academic activities. I can now create reusable materials for writing exercises, literacy activities, and math lessons. For example, students can practice tracing letters, matching words, or counting with laminated cards and worksheets that can be used repeatedly without wearing out.\r\n\r\nThese visuals and materials help my students engage more independently, understand concepts more clearly, and feel confident during activities. They also allow me to adapt lessons for individual needs quickly, providing a more structured, predictable, and supportive learning environment. Overall, the project has made learning more interactive, hands-on, and accessible for all my students.","fullyFundedDate":1769179069540,"projectUrl":"project/helping-little-learners-thrive-with-visu/9967072/","projectTitle":"Helping Little Learners Thrive With Visual Supports","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ferroudja","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7995828"},{"teacherId":10384798,"projectId":9959829,"letterContent":"Your donation has made a positive impact on many of our students at the King school.
