After the items arrived, we screen-printed our school logo on them so students could proudly wear a symbol of their \"new home\" in our school community. The design also included every flag of the countries they represented - 10 in total! The hoodies were given as a special gift at the culmination of Hispanic Heritage Month on October 15th, making the celebration even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nYour support not only kept our students warm but also gave them a sense of belonging and pride. But as they talked about their project and answered questions, they started smiling, gaining confidence. \r\n\r\nAside from learning Science, the biggest impact is building pride in themselves. For most of my students, this is the biggest project of their life so far, and each section required multiple drafts. Many of my students are multi-lingual learners, so they had to write and present in a non-native language. \r\n\r\nYour donation provided the presentation boards, which contributed to the professional-looking projects.
