Although we are a public school, my students need to wear a school uniform everyday. Team-wear levels the playing field for my students who may be unable to afford clothing. It also decreases bullying and creates a sense of pride and community. Currently, we have t-shirts with our school logo that students need to purchase. However, these t-shirts are not the most exciting option, especially for my very trendy middle schoolers. I want to get screen printing supplies for my students so that they can design and create their very own school uniform t-shirt. The hope is that this will make the uniform accessible for all students financially and empower them to come to school dressed for success everyday!
