I intentionally set the tone for a respectful, welcoming culture in my classroom. The phone pouches have allowed that vibe to continue, enabling students to put away their phones by choice while still having access to them, which eases their minds. The selection of two types of phone containers allows for choice and discipline when needed.\r\n\r\nThe sleek and stylish phone pouches make the user feel that not only is she protecting herself from distractions, but her phone is protected, as well. I used the donations to purchase a composition notebook for every student in my class. \r\n\r\nWe use composition notebooks throughout the year for labs. Students learn how to collect and organize data, analyze data and explain the results in my class. \r\n\r\nWhat's really nice about lab notebooks is that students can see progresss throughout the year because all of their work is in one place. They can also refer back to labs that we conducted earlier in the year in their notebook.
