During the school year, our classroom is abuzz with creativity and community from dawn to dusk, and some lovingly refer to it as Grand Central Station! Indeed, a music classroom isn't just a classroom, students spend hours honing their skills and performances individually and with their small vocal groups, musical theatre casts, a cappella groups, or in preparation for productions and community events. The main section of the classroom is where we rehearse as large ensembles, but the smaller practice rooms are where students practice individually and in small groups on a daily basis. Music practice rooms are a space for students to develop as musicians and creative leaders. We need to equip each of them with a quality keyboard instruments so that our student pianists, vocalists, and anyone in need of piano accompaniment can prepare effectively to meet their individual and collective musical goals.
