In one of our first projects, students created colorful self-portraits, practicing how to draw faces while experimenting with blending and layering colors. The paint sticks were easy for their small hands to control, which helped them feel successful right away.\r\nThese materials have made a huge difference in our classroom. Kindergarteners are still learning how to manage traditional paint, but with the tempera sticks, they were able to focus on creativity instead of spills and frustration. I saw more independence, longer attention spans, and so much pride in their work. \r\nNext, we will continue using the tempera paint sticks in a mixed media project where students will create imaginative scenes by combining drawing, painting, and simple collage. Your support is giving our youngest learners the tools they need to explore, express themselves, and fall in love with art.
