Your gift has made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of the at-risk students I work with at Annapolis High School.\r\n\r\nMany people use technology at home for entertainment or communication, but in our classroom, this technology has become a powerful tool for learning and emotional wellness. The headphones allow students to fully immerse themselves in guided meditation without distraction. By tuning out surrounding noise and activity, they are able to tune into their breathing, their thoughts, and the calming strategies we practice. This focused quiet time helps them reset in the middle of the day, improving their ability to concentrate, regulate emotions, and return to academic tasks with a clearer mind.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most about this new equipment is the sense of personal space and ownership it provides. When they put on the headphones, they enter a calm, private environment that feels safe and entirely their own. For many of them, that experience is rare and incredibly valuable. They look forward to our meditation time and often ask for it when they feel overwhelmed.\r\n\r\nSeveral students in particular have truly embraced this opportunity. Some who previously struggled with impulsivity or frustration now independently request a meditation break. Others who were hesitant at first have grown to love the routine and proudly share how it helps them feel calmer and more in control. Watching them discover a healthy coping strategy—and choose to use it—is one of the most rewarding outcomes of your generosity.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your support. Because of you, our students are engaging in a new and healthy way to care for themselves, build resilience, and strengthen their readiness to learn. Thank you for investing in their well-being and their future.","fullyFundedDate":1768316822247,"projectUrl":"project/silent-strength-mindfulness-through-he/9747612/","projectTitle":"Silent Strength: Mindfulness Through Headphones","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mueller's Pathways to Peace Program","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6598690_orig.png?crop=2541,2541,x374,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758560198183","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6598690"},{"teacherId":9021591,"projectId":8957020,"letterContent":"You have no idea how much this project helped us teachers at the end of the year. These supplies actually are carrying us into the current school year and are helping tremendously. \r\nStudents have been very grateful in my piano class for the disinfectant wipes to clean pianos before use.
