After receiving many accolades for the drama company's production of HAIRSPRAY from various members of the community, a common concern about the sound quality of the current system arose. Many of our actors could not be heard during the production due to inadequate equipment or not enough training on borrowed equipment. Our students are brimming with talent, and their voices should be heard. We would like to mic as many students as possible, and we are only receiving enough materials from the county to mic four students. The cast of West Side story alone requires almost 16 mics. We need to buy earsets, bodypacks, and receivers.
