We've been using the seating for small-group discussions, reading circles, and reflective writing time. One of my favorite moments was watching students collaborate during an outdoor science discussion, confidently sharing ideas and building off one another's thinking in a calm, focused environment.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new seating, their reactions said it all. There were smiles, excitement, and lots of questions about when we could take our learning outside. Many students shared that being outdoors helped them feel more relaxed, focused, and motivated to participate. The fresh air and flexible seating have been especially beneficial for students who need movement, sensory breaks, or a change of scenery to stay engaged.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we plan to continue using this space to support hands-on learning, project-based discussions, and community-building activities. Students are currently working on lessons that involve collaboration, critical thinking, and reflection, and the outdoor seating gives them the perfect setting to think creatively and communicate their ideas clearly.
