I have 6th grade students who are below average to average students. The majority are really weak in math and need all the extra help they can get. My school is a predominantly black school with the majority of the students on free or reduced lunch. Most students come from a working class family. The teachers at the school are very supportive of the students and each other because it takes a special kind of person to teach on the middle school level. Our school is a safe and friendly environment.
