With the generous funding that provided new DMX cables and spotlights, our student technicians gained hands-on experience working with professional-grade lighting equipment for our annual showcase, HorroFest.\r\n\r\nThese upgrades transformed the production process—allowing for more dynamic lighting effects, smoother transitions, and an overall higher level of technical artistry on stage. Students were able to explore creative lighting design concepts, understand how to safely and effectively connect and program DMX-controlled fixtures, and take pride in producing a polished, immersive show.\r\n\r\nThe new equipment not only elevated the visual storytelling of HorroFest, but also strengthened our stagecraft curriculum, giving students valuable skills in theatrical technology that will carry into future productions and high school theatre programs.
