These materials will make a difference in students' learning by allowing me to teach according to the standards of STEM and give my students a hands-on learning experience. They will be able to see that a compass always points north be being attracted to the north side of a bar magnet. They will be able to observe the properties of magnets and take ownership of their own learning. STEM is so very important in schools and never more important in this year when they do not get opportunities to work with students in other groups and barely have a PE and don't have a recess at all. Learning with hands-on materials in science is even more important than it's ever been.
