Firstly, the rhyming nature of the text provides an engaging and memorable structure. This format helps young children develop phonemic awareness by recognizing and manipulating sounds within words. As they listen, they are actively practicing essential early literacy skills.","fullyFundedDate":1730913381485,"projectUrl":"project/helps-us-foster-the-love-of-reading-at-c/8921179/","projectTitle":"Helps Us Foster the Love of Reading at Christmas!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tonya","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9826821"},{"teacherId":9429513,"projectId":8725848,"letterContent":"I am writing with immense gratitude to share the impact your generosity has had on my students and our speech therapy sessions. Thanks to your kindness, our project for out of the box seating was fully funded within the first seven days! This swift response has deeply touched my heart and reinforced the power of community in supporting education and the diverse needs of the students I work with.\r\n\r\nI opened the wobble chairs the day they arrived, and the response was overwhelming excitement and curiosity from my students. Although they took some getting used to (my students really like to wobble!!) these wobble chairs have already made a tremendous difference in my therapy sessions. For the students choosing to use them, these chairs allow the flexibility for students to move their bodies while staying engaged at the table. For many of my students, maintaining focus can be a challenge, but with these chairs, they are better able to channel their energy productively. I've noticed an increase in engagement and participation, as the freedom to move has made speech therapy not only more effective but also more enjoyable for them. When I ask my students what they think about the wobble chairs some of the responses have included: \"I love them a lot!\" \"I like that they let me move!\" \"I like that I can move back and forth!\" \"That I can get my exercise in!\" \"I love the color; green is my very favorite color!\" \"I like that it lets me wobble!\"\r\n\r\nYour support goes beyond just providing new pieces of furniture. You have given my students a tool that helps them grow, communicate, and thrive in therapy. Your generosity is making a real, tangible difference in their engagement, learning, and development. On behalf of myself and my students, thank you for believing in our project and for investing in the success of our future communicators. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated and will have a lasting impact. I remain continually grateful to you all for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1725843880095,"projectUrl":"project/outside-the-box-sitting-for-diverse-lear/8725848/","projectTitle":"Outside the Box Sitting for Diverse Learning and Attention Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nelson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9429513"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_58714","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":568,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"17.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":58714,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about McBrayer Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"McBrayer Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kentucky/rowan-county-school-district/mcbrayer-elementary-school/58714"}
