For many of my students, this is one of the first times a book has felt directly connected to the world they live in, which has made a huge difference in their engagement and understanding.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading looks active and collaborative. Students annotate, ask questions, and participate in discussions where they build on each other's ideas rather than just searching for \"right answers.\" They're making predictions, debating ethical dilemmas, and even connecting the novel to their own experiences with technology and social media.
