It's no secret students learn from engagement with teachers and their peers. That is why a second 'screen' for our classroom with be so very beneficial! As an educator in a school district where 100% of our students are on a free-lunch program they are even more in need of effective and encouraging communication. Due to Covid-19 our students have had to learn from home and have been isolated from each other and their teachers. Mentally and socially affected our students are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and alone. A second 'screen' will allow my students to learn effectively and allow for a means of communication not just with me but with their peers through virtual learning. A second 'screen' will afford me the opportunity to be even more effective in our districts Math Academy by educating students virtual. It will allow me to be more productive as a teacher in designing and implementing lessons designed to aid each student in their specific mathematical needs.
