Over 200 students with 82% who qualify for free/reduced price lunch enter the library on a daily basis. Many of these children do not have a comfortable reading space in their home. The library provides a print-rich environment for children who would not have access without it. Our school is located in an economically deprived area due to lack of industry and the shutdown of coal mines. It is critical for the students to have an opportunity to associate reading with pleasure.

About my class
