These are different accounts of historical events and put the students in the place of a person who was actually experiencing the events. I have colored coded my shelves using the color baskets. My students put their tables workbooks in one basket. Crayons, dry erase markers and erasers, and markers each go in a pocket of our color caddies. Glue sticks and scissors go in a small basket on the shelves and each shelf is color coordinated. I used the dot stickers to label the kids workbooks using the same color as their baskets.
