Literacy is fundamental in every child's life! I follow many different groups and narrowed down what I consider to be the best books for my grade level. I specifically picked books that would allow discussion and enrich my students life. It is crucial for children to see themselves represented in the stories read to them. I want to add more diverse books to my classroom library. All of the children in my classroom benefit from being able to see and hear books with different beliefs, cultures, skin color, and perspectives. It allows us to have a rich conversation in a safe and open environment.

About my class
