My goal was to have my students working with pen to paper more but not actually wasting more paper. These white boards, clipboards, and the accessories have made that a reality for us. \r\nFirst of all, there is a novelty to writing on a whiteboard. That alone gets even the writing-resistant kids going. Secondly, it has enabled my students to take risks in their writing because it is not permanent and easy for them to fix mistakes. It has allowed for easier collaboration than what we could do on the Chromebooks because the kids are able to easily pass their board to a neighbor or another group.
