We are applying what we learned in phonics to sound out and read stories like these written for novice readers. \r\n\r\nThey love the characters Biscuit and enjoy reading reading different adventures with the same character. My students are reading these as partners. We read these repeatedly. Partner reading is very beneficial for fluency. It builds accountability and partners help ensure accuracy when reading.
