I do not have to leave my classroom to scan something, I am able to send things I need printed directly to the printer without bringing the book and having to hold it-making bad copies. It has made using workbooks for different academic levels of students so much easier. I always have pencils ready to go, the pencils aren't breaking, and if a student needs a pencil sharpened during class then they are able to grab one that is already sharpened so they are not having to get up and mess with the sharpener. I like that the sharpener stops when the pencil is ready so you don't have to keep pulling it in and out and accidentally breaking it from sharpening too much.
