I am a first year teacher who is trying to optimize the efficiency in my classroom for students by starting with seat pockets so they can keep notebooks with work behind the chair. We use our notebooks throughout the day for responses to prompts, creative writing, taking notes, and brainstorming. We will also keep our working folder here which is where they keep unfinished work. Storing our notebooks here will also help us maintain social distancing by keeping student supplies at their desk.
