In our classroom, we spend a large amount of time on the carpet every day. The carpet is where most of our mini-lessons take place. My students have an assigned area during mini-lessons in order to work in groups in and out of their seats. Many of my students do not get to sit on the rug we have in our classroom right now because it is not large enough, and the students who do sit on the rug, have very little space for notebooks or whiteboards. This colorful and partitioned rug will allow each and every student to have a learning space during mini-lessons! It will also allow them to have their own personal square to sit on and call their own throughout the year! We would never be able to purchase such a beautiful and large rug for our classroom on our own. So, we need your help! Please help our class in transforming our learning space!
