They loved the \"gory\" parts, where Roald Dahl tells about his father's arm being amputated and when Roald had his nose almost cut off. \r\n\r\nThe book's mixture of humor and seriousness fostered many different discussions about resilience, empathy, and the complexities of growing up. It opened conversations about bullying, types of parenting, fairness, and resilience. The students were also able to compare schools abroad to our American Schools.\r\n\r\nOnce again, I sincerely thank you for your generous contribution.
